WELCOME TO THE WAFFLE WOODSHOP
Our Story
In 2016, my girlfriend (now wife!) and I were raising funds for an upcoming missions trip to the UK; she painted succulent planters and I learned how to turn pens to thank those who helped us raise the funds. We didn't know it at the time, but making those pens was the start of what became the "Waffle Woodshop".
My name is Jay Waffle and I am a self-taught woodworker who studied Environmental Biology at James Madison University. I read woodworking books,watched a lot of woodworking YouTube videos, and I decided to give it a shot.
To "Speak for the Trees"
We in the shop believe it is our responsibility as woodworkers to respect the wood we use and give back to the forests that we take from. Because of this, we have partnered with One Tree Planted and will donate a portion of all sales to their reforestation efforts across the US. We pride ourselves on being responsible stewards of the environment and hope to make the Lorax proud.
